Why Automation?
A fast laser cutter needs
fast material flow.

A high-performance laser cutter needs automation designed around its real production needs. By aligning loading, unloading, storage and material flow with the speed of the machine, CraneMaster helps reduce waiting time and keep the cutting process moving efficiently.

Less machine downtime

Reduces idle time between cutting cycles caused by manual material handling.

Safer material movement

Limits operator intervention and supports safer material movement.

Higher autonomy

Prepares the laser cell for longer, more predictable unattended cycles.

Connected storage

Turns isolated machine loading into organized factory material flow.

Which CraneMaster
solution fits your factory?

All production environments are different. Find the CraneMaster automation setup that fits your factory flow; from simple loading and unloading to storage-connected, high-volume, unattended laser cutting production.

Eagle automation system cranemaster

CraneMaster

The CraneMaster standard version is a loading/unloading sheet metal automation solution designed to simultaneously load new material and unload cut parts for smooth production and enhanced efficiency.
There are two available versions with air suction cups at either the top or bottom of the system. Thanks to its highly efficient cycle time, the CraneMaster contributes to the overall cost-effectiveness of the manufacturing process and is recommended for companies with medium to high volume production.

What does CraneMaster bring to your operation?

Higher machine utilization

By automatically loading and unloading you keep the laser cutting and making you money.

Reduced human error risk

Safer, accurate and repeatable sheet movement protects both operators and material.

Smoother production flow

CraneMaster is the first step into an interconnected loading, unloading and storage process.

Lights-out production

CraneMasterStore systems make sheet handling and storage autonomous for 24/7 production.

More predictable production

Reduces process variability and helps keep production schedules running consistently.

Lower cost per part

CraneMaster boosts productivity per shift, reducing your cost per part for higher profit margins.

When is it time to
implement automation?

In high-volume production, automation is a given. For mid-sized manufacturers, or companies in earlier stages of growth, the decision is less obvious. This checklist will help you determine whether automation is the right next step for your operation.

  • Your machine waits for material
  • Your want longer shifts with fewer interruptions
  • You need to reduce manual handling
  • You need better control of raw material and remnants
  • Operators spend too much time loading and unloading
  • You process high-volume repeatable batches
  • You’re planning on night or weekend production
  • Your factory layout needs smarter material flow

How automation helps
achieve lower cost per part
and faster ROI

CraneMaster reduces production cost per unit by increasing machine utilization, lowering labour needs and stabilizing material flow. As a result, more output is generated from the same fixed investment, accelerating return on investment.

How automation helps achieve lower cost per part and faster ROI

Higher utilization = faster payback

Reduces idle time between cycles by synchronising loading and unloading with machine speed. More cutting per shift means more parts without additional investment.

Lower labour cost per part

Manual handling is reduced to supervision. One operator can manage a wider production flow. Less direct handling per cycle lowers labour cost allocation per part.

Stable cycle times = predictable cost

Automated handling removes variability from loading and unloading. Stable throughput makes production planning and cost per part more consistent and controllable.

Reduced handling damage = less rework

Fewer manual touchpoints reduce scratches, damage, and stacking errors. Lower scrap and rework directly improve usable output per shift.

More unattended production

Automation enables production to continue with minimal operator involvement, increasing production beyond staffed hours like night shifts or weekends.

Higher output per shift = faster ROI

Higher utilization, lower labour input, and improved yield combine into more finished parts per shift. This reduces cost per part and shortens payback time.
