Composite Material Body

The EAGLE structural body is made of a modern polymer concrete composite material, which has unique mechanical properties: a higher than steel vibration damping factor and high temperature stability. It also features very high precision and reproducibility. It is fully biodegradable.

The solid body made of composite polymeric concrete material drastically suppresses vibration and provides cutting accuracy comparable to Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM’s). With accelerations of nearly 6G’s, our EAGLE lasers require a very rigid and stable foundation for the linear motors and absolute linear encoders, and anti-vibration to enable rapid change in direction of the cutting head.

This is an ideal solution especially for high-volume production of high accuracy components.

How it is designed?

The 'X' and X '' axle motors are located inside the sides of the body to provide exceptional traction stability when moving.

The polymer concrete construction of the machine body - the use of composite material allowed to achieve the unique properties of a laser cutter.

What is it exactly?

It is a building composite, a type of concrete in which the traditional cement - cement substitute is replaced with synthetic resins. The polymer concrete adheres to improving its properties, in particular chemical resistance and strength.

Currently, laser cutters are made of steel, characterized by a high temperature increase (polymer concrete - 10 times lower) and insufficient dampening of the machine working (polymer concrete damping vibration 100 times better).

In addition, the very fast movement of the beam causes vibrations that are not damped enough to quickly bring the machine into resonance, accelerating its self-destruction.
